Blue at the Chadds Ford
Bruce Blue grew up influenced by his surroundings and parental artistic careers; father, Gene Blue was a well known landscape
artist in Coatesville, PA. Bruce enjoyed pencil sketching and other painting mediums through high school; he sold his first painting to a teacher in 11th grade.
Bruce earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kutztown University, as a Communication
Design major. After college Bruce worked as an illustrator for a technical training company, where he learned computer drafting
skills. Currently employed as a mechical designer, encouraged by his brother Glenn, never giving up on his love for fine art, he
continues sketching and painting.
"I try to find the beauty and drama in the scenes I see and then, create an interesting composition. I want the viewer to
